Dr. Benjamin Carswell B.Sc., D.C., A.R.T.

Dr. Carswell has been working at Radovich Chiropractic for 7 years since his graduation
from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2003. He is a certified acupuncture
provider through the Canadian Academy of Medical Acupuncture (McMaster
University). He is also a full body certified Active Release Technique (A.R.T.) Provider
with Long Tract Nerve Entrapment and Master’s courses as well. Before chiropractic
college, Dr. Carswell earned his BSc in Kinesiology from the University of Western
Ontario in 1999. Dr. Carswell graduated from Massey High School in Windsor in 1995.

Dr. Carswell delivers evidence-based care to patients, both in terms of symptom
management as well as correcting underlying biomechanical faults or weaknesses that
lead to the symptoms in the first place. Dr. Carswell uses manual adjusting techniques,

active release therapy and acupuncture to accomplish this. Other therapeutic modalities
are used when indicated such as Laser, Tens, ultrasound, ice, heat, etc. If weaknesses,
tightness or postural correction are required, specific at home exercises are prescribed to
the patient’s individual needs.

Dr. Carswell’s wife Carrie is a registered massage therapist at Radovich Chiropractic.They have two children, a 3 year old boy named Riley and a newborn girl named Julia. Dr. Carswell’s father (Dr. David Carswell) is a family physician in Harrow, Ontario. Dr. Carswell is an avid runner in the local Running Factory (www.runningfactory.com) Race Series and a veteran of 5 marathons (pb 3:14:27). As a former football and basketball player, Dr. Carswell has first hand experience with injuries from the patient’s perspective as well.
